JH Woodworks began with a simple idea which is to craft pieces that last, pieces that carry both beauty and purpose. Rooted in Amish heritage, woodworking isn’t just a trade for us, it’s a way of life.
That’s the foundation we stand on. Our founders, Luke and Lucinda Coblentz, carry forward the timeless traditions taught by generations before them, where every joint fits just right, every finish is done with care, and no detail is ever overlooked.

Based in Florence, Texas, we design and hand-build every project. Machines can speed things up, but true craftsmanship still comes from the hands and the heart.

JH Woodworks is named after Grandpa Hochstetler, the man who taught us that real quality doesn’t need to shout; it simply speaks for itself.

From chicken coops to play systems and custom projects, everything we build is designed with care, so families can enjoy them for years to come.

Built to last
In a world of quick fixes and mass production, we believe in durability and design that stands the test of time.

Handcrafted with heart
Every cut, every join, every brush of paint or stain is done by hand, with intention.

Stories in every piece
Each project carries meaning. A child’s laughter on a playset, a family gathering in the backyard, a simple joy of keeping chickens in a coop built just for them. These aren’t just products, they’re memories in the making.

To bring authentic craftsmanship into every home, creating products that bring joy in both form and function
To craft more than just woodwork. We aim to build lasting memories, childhood play, family moments, backyard peace, and custom solutions that leave a mark wherever they go.
